An interesting sub-thread opens, with Richie Thomas telling us:
“Ouch, just got robbed Saturday night coming out of Harelem Jazz club. Both friend and I have same injuries to our ankles, lost each other and can’t remember the whole episode, total blackout. Leads me to believe we had our drinks spiked, nightmare.”

“We don’t know, all we remember is having a drink then both of us have absolutely no recollection of anything afterwards. 2 sprained ankles in same place minus our stuff. Whilst we have no proof, my friend said there was a look of knowing in the bar workers eyes, and the place had a few dodgy characters in it. You’d think I would learn, I been robbed a few times now…”

“Yeh we remember everything before a whiskey from a shot glass. We were merry but not hammered. Total blackout, and i can hold my drink quite well. All a bizarre situation, we reckon it was rohipnol, either to rob us or something worse… I’m pretty intuitive and reckon there was collusion, but obviously I need to be 100% sure. The look my friend said from the barmaid just looked a bit knowing. It was quite late and there was a few dodgy characters there. I’ll defo learn this lesson, but it’s a bloody disgrace the lawlessness.”
