Somehow we missed this, and we are featured! There’s an attractive video created by El Periódico, illustrated by a series of photos, showing robberies in Barcelona in various locations.
The beach, the metro, the street.
A spokesperson speaks – in Catalan – to camera explaining the techniques involved.
There’s heavy emphasis on the infamous robbery-map purportedly created – later refuted – by the Police. We didn’t create it either, but our Facebook group was the first place (we believe) where the content was published.
Here’s the video:
The video starts with the text:
This document is circulating across the web, and across police forces.
It’s a touristic guide, tells where the crimes take place, and the type of crimes in Barcelona.
The preferred target is the tourist because they’re more distracted, they can be identified.

they should hand this with english subtitles for the tourists.
It’s a good video, highlighting the problem, albeit a bit dry presentation, but exactly who was it created for..? I agree, it should have subtitles in lots of languages so it could be circulated further, and aimed at tourists as well as locals.
